About the Stoneware Soap Dishes

These are handmade by a very talented work-at-home dad who is a renowned potter and takes great pride in his work. These dishes are very durable stoneware, and will not easily break or chip. We have been amazed with the strength of these dishes, which has been tested relentlessly by our five kids. We are still using the first two dishes that we purchased from him over a year ago, and although they have been dropped, bounced around in an antique cast iron sink, and used as sunken treasure in the bath by two small pirates, there are not even any chips in the enamel.
